About Me

I am George Wrisley (what a strange statement).  I teach philosophy at George Washington University and Catholic University of America.  I do work in the areas of philosophy of language, metaphysics, ethics, and Wittgenstein, though I’m interested in the history and study of philosophy in general.

My primary motivation for doing philosophy is my belief that life is a continual process of working out how best to live, and that the study, the doing, of philosophy is a central aspect of that process.
